How do I get a library Card?
- Visit any of our libraries. Bring a photo ID–if your current address is not on the ID, bring this postcard or another document with your address.
- Ask any employee to open a library card!
Can’t make it in right away?
Get a 30-day temporary digital card by filling out this short form.
Where can I use my card?
- Use your card in-person at any of our libraries.
- Use your card online at https://ent.sharelibraries.info/client/en_US/default to reserve items for pick up at any of our library locations.
*** Feel free to mix and match where you pick up materials and where you return them. - Use your card online with your library’s digital resources (Audiobooks, digital magazines, ebooks, databases, language learning platforms, etc.) See our digital collections below.

- Our library cards work at every* library in Kenosha, Rock, Racine, and Walworth Counties – see the complete list. *Except Whitewater, WI, which belongs to a different library system.

Users will find Ebooks, audiobooks, movies, comic books, TV shows, and music albums.
This services allows any number of patrons to access the same title at the same time eliminating wait lists and holds for its digital collection.

Wisconsin’s Digital Library – Libby powered by OverDrive
Users will find Ebooks, digital audiobooks and magazines.
Wisconsin’s Digital Library was established in 2001 and is a shared, statewide collection of ebooks, audiobooks, magazines, and streaming video available for free to all Wisconsin public library card holders. Currently, Wisconsin’s Digital Library is the collection of digital materials powered by OverDrive.
