What is the SHARE Consortium?

The SHARE Consortium (or simply “SHARE”) is a partnership between Prairie Lakes Library System and Kenosha County Library System. SHARE’s combined collection and catalog offer patrons access to over 1.7 million items.

What is a library system?

An organization assembled by county or groups of counties, dedicated to providing its member-libraries with specialized services.

What does this mean for library card holders?

  1. A library card from any SHARE library is accepted at all SHARE locations–check out and return items in any combination!
  2. Your local SHARE member library is taking advantage of a long list of shared resources and cost-saving opportunities to improve and expand services for you.
  3. Over 1.7 million items belonging to 24 libraries are accessible to you in one place, with one library card – visit ent.sharelibraries.info!
